2022 Competitions

Hare Pairs

Congratulations to Sir Michael Carlisle and Chris Bodsworth winning the Hare Pairs on Sunday 8th May. In a round robin comprising of seven teams they won all there six matches.

Trophy presented by club President Mrs Christine Field.

Stan Hill Pairs

Congratulations to Colin McDonald and Helen Snowden winning the Stan Hill Pairs on Sunday 17th July. In a round robin comprising of six teams they won three, drew one and lost one for seven points. Similarly Jonathan Fudge and Grahame Sammons also scored the same number of points but lost by two shots.

Cook Triples

Congratulations to Chris Bodsworth, Helen Snowden and Ann Bannister for winning the Cook Triples. In the round robin event they won four of five matches as did Jim Pewtress, Janet Sutcliffe and Helen Fudge but had a better shot difference.

The trophy was presented by Jim Pewtress, with hat on, club secretary.

Saville Woods triples

Very exciting. We had four teams with three round robin matches of six ends. After two games each team had 2 points. The first teams to finish in the third game drew so the winner of the other would be champs. Frank, Julie and Graham won despite losing 12-2 in their first game by my team who promptly lost 13-1 in the next.

A good end to the season and we all look forward to next year.
